About Iraq National Demining Company

Mines are lethal weapons which have long-term impact on people after end of war could be last many decades. Mines are main obstacle that prevent lands from being developed and endanger human and the animal wealth which could last many years.
Since Iraq experience devastating war over past 100 years, the biggest challenge Iraq face is the ((Time Bombs)) related to Mines as statistics confirmed that Iraq currently has about 20 million mines, 7 million of which are in the northern Iraq, others are in the South and Middle. A great deal of those mines planted by Iraqi Government during the extinct regime in successive periods during wars the regime fought. The main of those mines are located in south of the country near Iranian borders and as usual these mines led to kill and hurt many people in addition to the problem of obstruction of the process of oil and metal wealth discovery. Currently Iraq jointly works with International organizations specialized in demine.
Hence, Iraq National Demining co. , emerged to contribute to rid our beloved people from this underground hidden death and to give our children and youth , who could be victims of these deadly weapon , future and new hope.

MISSION

Mine Action contributes to socio-economic use through land release Beyond the threats that mines/ERW present to human life, they also cause serious obstacles to sustainable development.
Contaminated land is to be released and returned to its owners for socio-economic use.

OBJECTIVES

1) Pay attention to humanitarian aspect and raising consciousness to the danger resulting from mines and war debris, put an end to the mine victims & disability and loss of limbs.
2) Sustain the national economic by clearing the lands assigned to establish the projects that contribute to build the national economic.
3) Clear land and the residential areas whose inhabitants been displaced due to terrorism and wars in order to liberate our beloved country from ISIS and saboteurs and to help those who have been displaced to return to their homes, till all these objectives be achieved, the company set up a foundation of stability in order to get the right and safe direction regarding this field , as follows:
1. Prepare SOP based on the applicable International & National Standards to be the firm constitution for the ARD ASSALAM CO. (Land of Peace).
2. Pay attention to the Logistics & Administration aspects on the highest levels, and provide equipment & devices designed to such work such as (PPE) & (HS).
3. Pay great attention on training at the highest levels of knowledge, and theoretical & practical tests and set up courses related to demining and rehabilitate teams specialize in this field.
